Before working at Shortline, Natalia served as a dental assistant at another practice in Tulsa.
She is from Colombia and graduated from East Central High School. Natalia has worked at Shortline for three years. She loves shopping and spending time with her daughter.
Vanessa is from Venezuela and previously worked in Oklahoma City as a translator. She has been at Shortline for two and half years and is currently enrolled at Tulsa Community College. Vanessa is married with a son.
Carolyn has been a dental assistant at Shortline Dental for three years. She previously worked at Denture Care as a dental assistant. “The best part of my job is making a pair of dentures for a patient,” Carolyn says. “It is rewarding to watch the patient confidently smile for the first time in a long time.” Carolyn is from Duncan, Okla., and enjoys spending time with her family.
An Arizona native, Diana has lived in Oklahoma for eight years. She graduated from Platt College as a dental assistant and has been part of the Shortline family for two years. “I love seeing different people and doing different things everyday,” says Diana. Married with two daughters, Diana likes reading and playing soccer.
Laire has been with Shortline for three years. She has worked in the medical/dental field for the past nine years. She grew up in Venezuela but graduated from high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. Laire is married with two daughters and loves baking and spending time outside.
Lynette joined the Shortline Dental team in September with 13 years of experience in marketing, public relations and recruitment for the medical/dental industries. Lynette is a Bartlesville native and attended Tulsa Community College. She enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, studying genealogy and spending time with her husband and three daughters. Lynette’s favorite part of her new job is meeting people who will benefit from Shortline’s services. Headquartered at the north Tulsa clinic, she oversees all Shortline Dental marketing.
Before joining Shortline Dental in February 2009, Dr. Baird practiced at an Oklahoma City clinic. Dr. Baird graduated from Brigham Young University and the OU College of Dentistry. Still newlyweds, Dr. Baird and his wife enjoy spending time together and mountain biking.
Christina has worked at Shortline for three years and brings a unique perspective to the Shortline office staff. After graduating from Chelsea High School, she attended Platt College to become a dental assistant. Today, she enjoys the front office interaction with patients. Christina is married and has three children. Together, they enjoy swimming and going to the park.
Delcy has worked at Shortline Dental for two years. Originally from Peru, she has been in the U.S. for 13 years. She likes teaching people the importance of dental health and especially likes to help educate the Hispanic community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
During the three years Rosie has worked at Shortline, she has worn many hats, including receptionist, accounts payable and receivable, and HR assistant. A “social butterfly,” Rosie never gets bored and enjoys helping out wherever she’s needed. Originally from Mexico, she has been in the U.S. for 31 years. She graduated from Eufaula High School and Coffeyville Community College. Rosie loves to bake, is married and has three children.
