FAQ

Do you accept Medicare?
Medicare does not cover dental services. However, if you have MEDICAID or SOONER CARE as your secondary coverage, this will help some with dental expenses.

How much does it cost to get a tooth pulled?
If you are a new patient, the exam and X-rays will cost up to $150. Pulling a tooth usually costs an additional $140, although it may cost more or less depending on the location of the tooth pulled.

Do you see adults with Medicaid/SoonerCare?
Yes! But, for persons age 21 and older, Medicaid/SoonerCare only covers limited exams, X-rays of problem teeth and extractions. You do not have coverage for cleanings and fillings unless you are pregnant or have very recently had a baby.

Do you go by a sliding scale?
No, we don’t. Local clinics that do go by your income are Morton Clinic at (918) 587-2171 and Neighbor for Neighbor at (918) 425-5578.

Do you have payment plans available?
Yes, for those who qualify. Plans are available through Care Credit and Wells Fargo. We have applications in the office.

Do you put people to sleep for extractions?
We don’t do intravenous (IV) sedation, but we do offer sedation dentistry and/or nitrous oxide.

Will you do treatments without exams and X-rays?
Our doctors must perform at least a limited exam for new patients. We may be able to use copies of your X-rays from another dentist if they are recent and aid in making an accurate diagnosis of your condition.

Does Medicaid/SoonerCare cover fillings for adults?
For patients 21 years or older, Medicaid only covers fillings if you are pregnant or have very recently had a baby.

Do you repair dentures/partials?
Yes. However, because we do not have an on-site lab, some repairs may require you to be without your dentures or partials for a short time.

When should my child go for his first dental appointment?
We recommend children have their first appointment around the time their teeth start coming in.

Do you have same day appointments?
Yes, but only for emergencies. We accept emergency “walk-ins” Monday through Friday. Please call if possible. We will try to squeeze you in around our other patients as we get openings. Sometimes this takes awhile, so you should be prepared to wait.
